The Social Proof module also allows you to display reviews of individual products or your services as a whole.
The first step will be to integrate Fresh Relevance with your Reviews provider, you can see the list of providers we integrate with here.
To integrate, select your provider from the dropdown and follow the setup instructions here: https://admin.freshrelevance.com/settings/review_settings1/ checkout our help center for further guidance.
To build your SmartBlock:
- On the navigation go to Content | SmartBlocks
- Click on the Reviews tab
- Click Create SmartBlock
- Select the template you would like to use – you can customize this further later to match your branding
- You’ve landed on the Layout tab, here you can alter the look and feel using our color pickers, font and text fields. For further styling flexibility you can click Edit at the top to enter the code and add your own styling
- On the Properties tab give your content a name and add Campaign Tracking information if you want to track clicks on the content
- On the Data Sources tab you can choose to show either Product or Service reviews and dictate the number of reviews you want to display
- On the Options tab you can fine tune your SmartBlock such as limiting the length of your reviews and the order that they display in
- Finally on the Filtering tab, we can be more specific about what reviews we want to include or exclude. For example, only showing reviews greater than 4 stars, for specific products or even containing certain words
- Once your happy with your SmartBlock click Publish and Use and proceed to deploy your content. Skip ahead in this course to review your deployment options and steps to take.

Every business has its specifics, however these are some key things to consider for your Social Proof:
- What’s Your Message?
When integrating Social Proof or reviews messaging, ensure that what you’re displaying represents the voices that you’d like your customer to hear. Highlighting the trust of existing customers gives your potential customers a faith in your proposition.
- Showcase Popularity
Highlight popular products with badges like “Best Seller”, “Most Reviewed”, or “Hot Pick”. Displaying a product’s popularity instantly elevates its perceived value and may sway potential buyers who are on the fence. Remember, people often lean towards options that many others have validated.
- Use Time-Sensitive Indicators
Creating a sense of urgency can be an effective strategy. Incorporate social proof labels such as “Only 5 left in stock”, “Recently purchased by 20 shoppers”, or “15 people are viewing this now”. This not only illustrates the demand for the product but also encourages quicker decision-making.
- Highlight Positive Feedback
While it’s important to be transparent with all types of feedback, emphasizing positive testimonials can boost buyer confidence. Consider using our review filtering to highlight keywords that you wish to display to your customers.
